SOME NEWS.

Things have been quite quiet with the Wankys but we are still just about functioning as a band, health issues and the distance between us have taken their toll with regards to our activity. However, we do have several things on the horizon. First of all out very soon on Lady Lasol Records (Finland) will be a split 7” with our mates Kuolema. We are continuing to work on our next recording, which is 3 brand new songs, release details to be confirmed sometime soon.
The big news is that we will start playing some gigs again, after 15 months we will be doing a small tour of Northern England and Scotland with legendary Swedish Punk band MOB 47. To say we are excited about this is an understatement, that band means so much to me, I recall picking up their debut 7” upon release 30 odd years ago and recall the Wankys played our fist out-of-town gig with MOB 47 at the 1in12 club 10 years ago.
The dates are as follows
Friday 16th Feb 2018 Sheffield (venue t.b.c)
Saturday 17th February (matinee gig 12-2) Sunderland at Pop Records with Prolefeed, £5.
Saturday 17th February Glasgow at Nice n Sleazy
Sunday 18th February Edinburgh at Banshee Labyrinth

Other news is we have made some badges, they are free with any order or £1 plus postage.

There is talk of us touring both Japan and East/West Coast USA, we'll see if those happen...

Also Our Future Magazine is working on an issues dedicated to the Wankys, it will include some free stuff for Subscribers. For details https://ourfuturerecords.bandcamp.com/merch/3-issue-subscription-to-our-future
