The Wankys Live at Liquid Tone

 On 26th August 2023 we recorded a live session at the Liquid Tone studio in Leicester. A huge thanks to all involved in this, especially Ant, who plays in the wonderful Leicester band Sex Germs. It was a straight up live session, no second takes, no overdubs. The general vibe brought back memories of the radio one session I recorded for John Peel at Maida Vale back in days of yore. I almost expected John Walters to pop his head around the door. Check out Sex Germs, check out the video.

Friday 13th September Leicester at Duffy’s Bar, £7 on the door. With Wojczech, Krupskaya, Knice. 

Saturday 26th October Nottingham, details to be confirmed.

Sunday 17th November, matinee gig at the Big Difference, Leicester, details to be confirmed.

Saturday 14th December at the Castle and Falcon, Birmingham with Asylum, Discharge, Antisect, Constant State of Terror etc etc etc.  

Upcoming Gigs 2024

 We have a few gigs coming up over the next few months, starting with the Noise Annoys Fest in Sheffield  on Friday 24th of May. The fest is on for the whole weekend (24-26/5) and well worth checking out, tickets available online. On Sunday the 9th of May we will be playing a matinee gig at Duffy’s Bar in Leicester with Feral State and Enzyme from Australia (1-4pm), £5 on the door.  We will be in Leicester again on 24th July (details coming soon) and again at Duffs on Friday 13th September with Woczech from Germany.
